Since, the transactions that are carried out through HTTP result in interoperability problems; the SMS forums have developed 2 applications: • Short Message Application Part (SMAP) : It is an XML format for the messages themselves. SMAP Messages: The actual message passed is expressed as SMAP message. The SMAP protocol was developed based on the fact that when compared to the Binary form that the SMS take currently, It is more convenient to use a MMAP when it is used with the SOAP structure. It possible to create Web Services in a network by combining the features of JAVA and XML. The JAVA platform and XML are two open industry standards that lower the cost of information and sharing Data.
